Events manager

We are looking for an Events Manager to join our wonderful creative team based in the Warwickshire countryside. We want someone who is hands on managing events from start to finish and who has excellent people person skills and who can engage with our clients in a friendly and professional manner. This role requires someone who can drive to attend the events and who is flexible with their working hours, we will provide hotel accommodation if over night stays are required and a lovely caring team environment

Responsibilities

• Managing client accounts and taking briefs
• Setting up event locations
• Ensuring deadlines and timings are met
• Being the main point of contact for clients
• Ensuring health and safety are met
• Preparation of all equipment / setting up and packing down
• Setting up audio/ visual equipment
• Hosting/ public speaking

Qualifications/ Skillset

• Experience in Events management / corporate management
• Leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• AV knowledge advantageous
• Flexible - must be able to work weekends when needed
• Can manage own time / schedule
• Confident
• People person
