Our client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager, a pivotal role for the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand their market presence globally. Only candidates that can demonstrate a proven track record in winning new business will be considered.
The ideal candidate must come from a Technical sales background, either mechanical or electrical. Experience of selling into OEMs would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in international markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion through market research and analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, distributors, and partners.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
Skills & Requirements required:
- Proven track record of success in a new business focused, technical sales role.
- An ambitious individual with a hungry mentality and passion to develop their knowledge and skillset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with international clients and partners.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
